Tashkent State Medical University students win hackathon startup projects

The third day, the final stage (Demo Day) of the hackathon, an important event aimed at developing startups and innovations, was successfully held at the New Uzbekistan University.

This hackathon was organized in cooperation with Tashkent State Medical University and New Uzbekistan University and was aimed at supporting the innovative ideas of young people, developing startup initiatives and strengthening inter-university cooperation.

As part of the event, a number of practical training sessions were organized at universities to form a startup ecosystem and create new opportunities for students and young researchers. In particular, trainings on the topic “Pitch Smart: How to Convince Investors in 5 Minutes”, mentoring sessions, teamwork processes and networking meetings were held.

During the Demo Day, startup projects developed by teams from Tashkent State Medical University and New Uzbekistan University were presented to the jury. Participants justified the practical significance, relevance and prospects of their innovative solutions and business ideas.

According to the decision of the jury, the following startup projects were recognized as winners at the end of the hackathon:

🥇 1st place — Mind Tech
🥈 2nd place — VitalSync AI
🥉 3rd place — Scandina

Also, the DBaby project was awarded the “Most Promising Startup” nomination.

It played an important role in further strengthening the fruitful cooperation between Tashkent State Medical University and New Uzbekistan University.
